Unfortunately, we only had one night in Antigua but were charmed by this small, clean and welcoming hotel. We appreciated the attentive and accommodating staff.

This hotel is a few blocks from the main area of Antigua. It is a very nice hotel with good sized rooms. Extremely clean place. Breakfast can be added to room rate if requested. Internet is available. The service is great. The second floor rooms overlook rooftops and volcano. The first floor rooms have a small, but nice, garden area. It is a fantastic choice for the price. The only problem that my husband and I found is that the bed was too firm. We were told that all rooms have therapeutic beds.

Students, another chaperone and I stayed a week at the Casa Florencia. The rooms were always clean, breakfast was prepared to our satisfaction, including take-away on 2 days. Every effort was made to help all of us with of our needs. A bonus is a view of the Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango volcanos. Were I to return to La Antigua, Guatemala, I would definitely stay at this charming, boutique hotel.

I booked a couple of nights here for my fiancee and myself after reading all the positive reviews on tripadvisor and we were definitely not disappointed. The hotel is located a couple of streets from the main plaza but the walk there is relatively short. The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was immaculately clean and we felt completely safe staying there. We also had to cancel some booked nights and I was amazed as to how professional and helpful they were with these booking issues. We were treated exceptionally well and I would highly recommend Casa Florencia. I do have to say that they should include breakfast every day of the week not just on weekends, I am pretty sure that people would be willing to pay an additional amount for breakfast. Overall great stay!!!
