Some recent reviews have been negative, so we thought we would add our opinion. We have stayed at Casa Capuchinas several times over the past few years and have always found the place to our liking. It's tucked away behind a wall across from the Capuchinas ruins on 2 Avenida Norte, about 4 blocks from the central plaza. There are 8 rooms, and the ones to the back of the property on the upper level are especially nice; they are larger and probably quieter than the others, but all the rooms appeared to be decent. It's an old building with a central garden, and the place fits well with the colonial atmosphere of Antigua. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were most helpful (but did not seem to speak English, if that's important to you), and the breakfast was more than ample (either tipico or Americano). We paid $79 per night, with breakfast, and the price seems like good value for money at that rate. I expect that prices are higher around Semana Santa, but that's probably true for most other places in Antigua. We would happily go back again.
