“Would definitely stay here again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2010

Our two families of 3 adults and 4 teens stayed in Antigua for 10 days. Aurora is a great hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The people are nice. The place is clean. The suite is worth the extra money as it is twice the size of the other rooms. The suite had a safe but our smaller second room did not. But we felt totally safe leaving our money and passports in the room anyway. Antigua awakens early (7 am) but don´t think this hotel was any nosier than any others would be. The basic breakfast is great and comes with the room, but you can get more for a little more money. It´s a nice restaurant, not self serve. The hotel picked us up at the airport. We charged that and the room to VISA with no additional service charge, like many hotels. Overall great stay and I would definitely recommend Antigua.

“Excelent Location, Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2010

This quaint little hotel has it all. Free parking, big clean rooms, free breakfast, friendly staff and a great location. The large corridors that surround the garden are great for an afternoon coffee or tea. Our kids spent the evening enjoying the weather with a board game. Try the dulceria right out front, the bakery a block towards the park and the "tertines" restaurant about two blocks towards the park.

“Great hotel & great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 March 2010

We stayed in the a suite with a king bed and 2 doubles that was extremely spacious and well maintained. Lovely center courtyard, enjoyable continental breakfast (fresh fruit, toast, coffee, tea, juice), and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

“Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2010

We stayed here twice during our trip to Guatemala, the first room had no outside windows and the bathroom was tiny and in need of an update but it was clean and tidy. The second room was larger and had a much better bathroom and also had an outside window - this was much better.

The breakfast was a little on the small side but nice enough.

The location was fantastic and the little courtyard was a nice place to sit and relax in the afternoon.

I would stay here again.
