It´s was a pretty nice experience, near to central park and all that you need to be confortable.

I hesitated to recommend the Casa Ovalle only because I want to keep it all to myself for future trips to Guatemala. But they deserve some praise! Great place, truly a home away
from home. Pretty, very affordable, comfortable, and spotless. A private and quiet B&B with a convenient location, it has a friendly, helpful staff and delicious breakfasts! Stayed here three times and plan to return.,Guatemala is a wonderful country-beautiful
place and beautiful people.

You can't fault Casa Ovalle for offering a good value room in one of Guatamala's more expensive towns for tourists. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good and varied and the location is good. The beds are short so if you are 6 foot and over i would steer clear. The main problem was it just felt like you were staying at your gran's house with the rooms nestled in a building full of old furniture and trinkets. We didn't feel like we could relax in this location. Maybe a good option for couples in a more senior age bracket.

Entering a lush Spanish style patio, greeted by the friendly hostess, escorted to a large, well furnished room was just what was needed to unwind from a tough flight schedule and introduction to seven days of historic exploration of Antigua, Guatemala supported by the friendliest team of care givers I have run across in many years. Casa Ovalle's site near the town square made self exploration easy and the charming citizens of the country made sure that the welcome received at the Casa Ovalle was repeated countless times during my seven day stay. The price was unbeatiful and the memories lasting.
