We stayed 2 nights at Qachoch and will never stay there again. First off, they said the AntiguaDaily card I had wasn't the real card and that I had to buy the real card in order to get the discount. I had no idea how to argue with that. It was already pretty cheap so it didn't seem like a big deal at the time. Then at night, I found out that they padlock everyone into the hotel. Unfortunately I didn't find this out until the second night. There is also a night guard but he disappears for hours at a time. On our second night, we were asleep by 11pm. At about 12:30, there was loud banging on the front door. This continued for about 20 min. Finally I got up to see what was going on. There were 2 guys returning for the night trying to get back to there room. I tried to let them in but the padlock was on the door. I looked for the guard and the keys and couldn't find either. After another half hour of searching, the guard came strolling up whistling. When we asked where he had been he just laughed. I talked to the owner the next day but she didn't seem to think it was much of an issue.
So if for some reason you decide to stay at this hostel, I strongly suggest staying in a room as far away from the front door as possible and pray that a fire doesn't break out in the night because more than likely, you wont be able to get out of the building.
