We had a wonderful stay at Casa Concepcion. Julio is super helpful and speaks English fluently, which is a major plus. He had great recommendations for restaurants and made reservations for us. We stayed in Suite #1, which is clean and quiet and has a great view from the windows. The bathroom is big, with a Jacuzzi tub! The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The location is a bit out of the way from the 'center', but Antigua is so small that its only a 6 min walk. Being a bit out of the way meant it was quiet and peaceful!

We stayed with another couple in this very charming clean and comfortable bed and breakfast. I can not express how happy we were to have had this recommended to us for our 4 day stay in Antigua. The breakfast was excellent, the staff outstanding speaking perfect English. I would certainly stay here again if I were to return to Antigua.

This beautiful, spotless hotel is located within walking distance of everything you want to see in Antigua. We booked the apartment in the hotel, but the other rooms also look gorgeous, and there are comfy spaces indoors and out for all guests to use. Julio and his assistant Claudia (both bilingual and bicultural) are fonts of info and are happy to arrange side trips or just answer questions. A full, delicious breakfast is included. The hotel is quiet, so it's a great place to sleep and to relax. We felt so welcomed and well-taken-care-of, and this made our enjoyment of Antigua complete.

I visited this hotel with a friend a few weeks ago and we were both completely charmed by the entire place. The staff go out of their way to make you feel like home. We were on the ground floor apartment (I think it's the only one with a kitchenette) - with two beds and a small bathroom. The little garden area was perfect and we hung out there for a little while every day. Claudia from Antigua Tours was on site a bit and really helped us out. As for the location - it's only a few blocks from the main square but there are lots of restaurants and sites nearby (including a small winery only one block away). We loved our stay here and I will DEFINITELY come back the next time in Guatemala (which will hopefully be soon). If you haven't visited Antigua before you are in for a treat - especially if you stay here! PS This place is QUIET! We did hear a bit of music from one of the bars, but not really in our room. I think the downstairs location is perfect for peace and quiet.
