“perfect weekend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2010

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Roberts House Inn during the weekend of the Christmas Stroll. We absolutely LOVED this Inn. We are still talking about it weeks later. It was in the most perfect location, a short walk to everything you need. The staff was lovely and the bed was the most comfortable bed i've stayed in....the pillows were heaven too! The four poster bed and the entire "homey" feel was so nice to walk into every day/night. If you want the best dinner of your life, head down to Lola 41 and grab their burger or sushi! be sure to make a reservation as this place is ALWAYS busy! The Brotherhood bar is awesome as well. Everything about this Inn and area is spectacular. we are definitely staying at the Roberts House Inn next time we go back! :)

“Lovely Lovely Lovely!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2010

This place is in the best location, right next to the main street, not too far to walk with your luggage from the ferry. The house is beautiful and the rooms were perfect!

The only criticism I would have was that the staff weren't really friendly, I had expected friendlier service in a place like Nantucket, but it was obviously staff rather than owners on the desk. The other thing that I thought really let them down was breakfast. Everything was on paper plates, plastic cutlery and there was no juice at all. If you didn't have tea or coffee there was nothing. Everything was just left so there was no staff member to ask about juice.

“Comfortable and relaxing, like sleeping in your own bed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2010

Great rooms, and just a moments walk to everything! We stayed in the Manor House, an adjoining property. The bed was comfortable and offered a great nights sleep. The garden outside was a beautiful place to eat breakfast or relax late in the day. Doug was a wealth of information and saved us much aggravation. I have already recommended The Robert's House Inn to friends and would stay here again in a heartbeat. For the money, you can't beat it!

“Excellent value and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

This is my 2nd stay at Roberts House. It is a great value and in a great part of town. I would definitely suggest staying there. It is a no frills b&b offering clean rooms and an inexpensive place to stay on a very expensive island.

I am an admitted hotel snob and have stayed in dozens of hotels - for the price and location this is a definite value. I did not give this a perfect rating only because when compared to a hotel that's double the price, this hotel obviously does not match up as understood and expected. It is great for the price.

“Fantastic Stay in a Great Location”

The Robert House Inn is a beautiful old whaling captain's house in a good location in town, where the harbour, shops and bus terminal is just short walk away.

We arrived early and though the rooms were not ready, the hosts expedited housekeeping and allowed us to check in a couple of hours earlier than the official check-in time. Not only that, they upgraded our double room to a family double as they have vacancies. This kind gesture will definitely win customers back!

Room was beautiful, with a 4 poster bed and all the trimmings of a high-end hotel room.

The only complaint I have is the continential breakfast. I'm not sure if we were late for breakfast but there was only a bit of bread left and the options were meagre. A sight disappointment after the wonderful room stay.
