This was my second stay here. Love the location, quick walk to town. Beautiful property, comfy porches and lovely patios. Awesome staff, every single person smiles and is helpful. Breakfast is delicious, rooms are clean and modern, we stayed in one of the suites, very nice. Lots of little extras, beach chairs, beach bags, bikes, cookies, wine in the afternoon and fresh cucumber water on the back porch at all times! Very charming!

We stayed 3 nights at the Veranda House and had a wonderful time. My husband and I were there with his sister and her husband. We were so pleased with every aspect of our stay. The rooms were amazing and had so many special touches. To select your room, let whoever you speak to know your needs when you call. The location is just perfect. You can walk anywhere you want to go and enjoy all the shopping and amazing restaurants. We would recommend anyone to go and enjoy and we all plan on going back. All of the staff was wonderful and helpful.

This was our first visit to Nantucket and we stayed for 3 nights which was not long enough. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly - endlessly providing suggestions of fun things to do and making reservations. The breakfasts - served with style on the outdoor terrace - were delicious and very varied. Our room was very simply but elegantly decorated with a very comfortable bed. And the complementary glass of fizz served every afternoon was the icing on the cake! It was close enough to the centre of the town to be convenient but still quiet.

This was our fifth trip to Nantucket and our first stay at TVH and we had a wonderful time. The inn is very much like Nantucket, old and historic while still having all the modern conveniences and comforts a person wants on vacation. The location cannot be beat; it is practically in the center of town which is great for dining options or rainy day shopping. The property is just charming- cool lobby, great harbor view (Room 26), nice bedding, and we just loved the patio breakfasts to start our day. When on vacation, I hate having to scrounge up breakfast in the morning and desperately wait for a cup of coffee to be put out. Having it prepared for you, at your convenience really saves you valuable daylight hours so that you can get right on with your day. The staff was extremely nice and low-key and someone was always on duty, should you have any needs. We very much hope to go back next season.
