You will not find a better value on the island. Its location is right off down town, just steps from everything, yet still nice and quiet late night. The inn keepers Steve and Joanne are super nice as well, and very accomodating to any special needs/requests, they are very easy going people. Its an old Inn, over 100 years old, so if you are looking for a fancy hotel type of place, this is not it, its a very quaint Inn, with alot of old rustic character. Its very peacefull sitting on the front porch reading, having a drink and people watching as well. Some of the rooms have a shared bathroom, which for me I'm a guy, I could care less, but I know that bothers some girls. Some rooms have bathrooms though, depends on availability. Some of the rooms also do not have AC, but some do, again you'll have to ask. But there is usually a nice cool sea breeze at night anyway, so I've never found AC a necessity on Nantucket. Ive been staying here for several years now, its my go to place, becasue of the price, location, and the staff.

I come to ACK for business. The Nesbitt Inn is a quintessential B&B. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. I feel like I have a home away from home staying there. The innkeepers are great. I have loved every room that I have stayed in. Sitting on the porch is a great place to 'people watch.' If you get hungry, there is a restaurant right next door.

The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to absolutely everything. If I have time, I like to rent a bike and bike around the Island. I highly recommend the Nesbitt Inn and am looking forward to bringing my husband with me on one of my trips. Now that I have read the reviews about the apartment in the back, I can't wait to stay in that room.

My husband and I recently stayed for 4 nights over July 4th. We booked the studio apartment in the carriage house behind the inn. We loved our little place, very cozy and enjoyed our private deck area with table and chairs. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch of the inn to people watch out over Broad Street. A relaxing experience in the comfortable chairs. The owners were interesting and lovely people. They were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed our time talking to them. The location to the inn is excellent and is second to none right in the heart of everything yet quiet at night. Overall this was a great stay for us and we plan to return to the Nesbitt Inn on future visits to Nantucket!

I was warned that Nantucket is ridiculously expensive during the summer but I was fortunate enough to find the Nesbitt Inn, a true value in downtown Nantucket. The location is ideal, just 2 blocks from the southern pier and within immediate proximity to some excellent restaurants, it is a quaint B&B that is perfect for someone not wanting to spend an arm. It's not luxury, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and not all rooms have their own bathrooms and we didn't see the owners much but the place was clean, friendly, and got the job done at a great price. The breakfast was pretty weak, coffee, toast, juice and fruit, but there are many great breakfast places in Nantucket (Queequeg's about 2 blocks away was incredible) it really doesn't matter. Great location and value.
