This was our 2nd trip to Nantuckett for a platform tennis camp. We decided to stay at Cliff Lodge again, as our first experience was so memorable. Sally is very gracious and entertaining as hostess. We feel as if we have made a friend because of her thoughtfulness and willingness to make our stay special. Will definitely be back next September,'12 !

“Cream Lushious”

In December I stayed three nights at Cliff Lodge and jumped on what was available since it was Christmas Stroll weekend. I got lucky with Cliff Lodge and my room. It was a little over priced, I have stayed in a couple other Inns for less but maybe it was because of the event weekend. The common rooms of the Inn are decorated beautifully, with many shades of cream or neutrals and warm lighting. As soon as I walked in I had a smile on my face. The rooms make you want to sit there and enjoy the afternoon. Sally the Inn Keeper will talk your ear off if you let her! She is very interesting and knows alot about the Island, as well as has a good sense of humor. The acoustics were not great, but luckily everyone is usually on the same schedule so it wasn't so bad. If you don't want to hear foot steps or water running, this is not the place for you. I will definitely stay there again.

“Lovely place with warm athmosphere and cordially receiving”

Wè loved this place with it`s historic and warm athmosphere. Very nice, individual and aesthetic interior, wonderful view from the roof-terrace, delicious breakfast in a lovely breakfast room and beautiful patio. Sally, the owner is a wonderful host and makes everyone feel as much as comfortable as possible. Cliff Lodge was recommended to us by german friends that were staying there already 3 years ago and we would definitely recommend it to other friends as well.
Thank you Sally for this unforgettable stay! Hope to come back again soon!

“Great stay,-for the fifth time !”

Love this place! A fresh, airy bright place true to the Nantucket style. VERY quiet and peaceful, but also close to the main downtown area for dining and attractions. Rooms are meticulously clean and uncluttered. Sally is always helpful, available and deals with any problems that arise promptly. Baked goods and fruit salad for breakfast are lovely as well as the afternoon treats. Walk to the closest beach, but make sure that you bike out to Madaket for an amazing sunset !

“Wonderful B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

My wife and I spent a great Columbus Day weekend at the Cliff Lodge. The rooms are warm and comfortable and we had a view of the water from our window. Sally was an excellent host and breakfast was delicious. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The rooms are a bit small but that's what you expect in an older Nantucket B&B. One of our favorite things about the inn was the delicious afternoon cookies! We both highly recommend the Cliff Lodge!
