The Inn is beautiful and was put together with care. There are pictures everywhere and Jean explained to us that each had a special meaning behind them. We saw various people sitting relaxing and reading in the cozy sitting room that seemed to have a baked treat waiting daily. There are books everywhere and hundreds of DVDs that you can choose and bring up to your room. The breakfast was far from your typical artery clogging variety. There was delicious oatmeal and granola with every topping and fresh fruit imaginable as well as muffins and bread. Our room and bathroom were very clean and pretty. My favorite spot was the rocking chair on the porch. They have done a wonderful job adorning the area with flowers and greenery and there are lovely tables with umbrellas in a little courtyard on the side of the porch where you could enjoy breakfast if you didn't want to socialize in the dining room. If you want even more outdoor privacy there is a cluster of chairs hidden in nature on the other side of the porch. It’s a nice location only a few minutes walk from the ferry and Main Street but in a nice neighborhood. There is a community refrigerator on each floor, as well as computers and guest wireless available. The staff and owners are warm, friendly and entertaining. Jean assisted us with reservations at an enjoyable restaurant she recommended.
