my boyfriend and i stayed here the first weekend in August and it was awesome! Its a short walk from downtown and a very close walk to Jetties beach but yet you are out of the bustle of the ferry traffic and of downtown. The pool was very clean with plenty of chairs to layout on and the lobby breakfast was perfect for a quick bite on the go. We had a fantastic trip and will be staying here next year. Also if you are looking for a good bike rental place Cooks Cycles was fantastic. The couple who run it are very nice and very helpful.

This place is not the newest or cleanest and it definitely could use a renovation. However, it is nice enough, is reasonably priced, is very walkable to the downtown and has a nice pool. There is a beach and public tennis courts just down the street. It is also very walkable from the Ferry. You're going to spend enough in Nantucket on dining, you don't want to spend it on a room in which you will spend little time. In general, Nantucket is a very special place and the Beachside is a good practical choice.

My husband and I visited Nantucket for a visit with our son who is working on the island for the summer months. We have vacationed on the island before in a more expensive, bed and breakfast. We were a little apprehensive booking a larger motel BUT..........the experience was great. The price was just right, the staff extremely attentive and friendly.
We hope to visit the island two more times this season.....again.....to visit out son !!

But not because they are inviting you or will be available if you need service (almost impossible to receive any) but because the pillows and bed are so horrific you'll need the light to read by when you're up all night. We arrived Sunday window was busted out in front lobby today is Wednesday and window is still tagged with caution tape. I am nit kidding when I say you will be disappointed that you had to spend anything over $50 to stay in this place and the only reason why you will be satisfied with that is because the location is close to town and convenient. Please spare yourself from having to stay here and do not do what I did and book last minute travel, plenty if great places in Nantucket just plan ahead.
