What a wonderful B&B. My wife and I enjoyed a romantic 5 day stay here last summer. This was our third vacation on the Island, and the best yet. The Barnacle Inn is reasonably priced and very clean. Just steps away from downtown yet quiet and private. An easy walk from the ferry. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit medley, delicious freshly baked muffins and strong coffee each morning in the beautiful private gardens of this historic Inn. The Innkeepers were delightful and directed us to the best restaurants and places to beach, tennis and antique. We rented bikes and explored the downtown area. I highly recommend doing this as it gives access to the various beaches and municipal tennis courts. The rooms are all differently decorated in various nautical themes. I will most assuredly return to this island Oasis.

Over the years, I stayed at many places on Nantucket then I was introduced to the Barnacle Inn by a friend... I now only stay at the Barnacle! Great location, fair rates, delicious breakfast and cookies and most important - the owners are great! You really feel like you are staying at their home and they truly have become friends! Sure it is not the fanciest place on the island but it is clean with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere which is what I want when I'm on vacation! I highly recommend the Barnacle Inn!

I recently stayed at the Barnacle Inn in Nantucket and really enjoyed my visit. The owners, Susie and Phil, are wonderful! They go out of their way to make sure your stay is nice! The inn is very comfortable and clean!!! And the breakfast the serve you in the morning (if you want breakfast) is the best! Later in the day when you come in from your daily activities they have cookies waiting for you! The lobby area is just like your living room at home and makes you want to just sit and relax after your busy day. If I get a chance to go back to Nantucket I plan on staying again at the Barnacle Inn!

The Barnacle Inn is our favorite get-away for a relaxing beach weekend. Owners Suzie and Phil are so friendly and helpful and put out the most wonderful breakfast on their patio. Wish we could go there every weekend.
