I've never bothered to write a review but was impelled to write this one due to the state of the pool area. The water in the pool and hot tub was too cold to swim in. The thermometer read 60 degrees in the hot tub! Also, the pool is filthy--the stairs are brown and the floor is black. Mildew is growing all over the tiles around the pool. We complained at the front desk and were told the heater was broken and that the mildew and discoloration were due to that. I find that very hard to believe--this pool doesn't look as if it's been thoroughly cleaned in years.
In addition, when we checked into our room, the toilet was filthy. A seasoned traveler, I am very unimpressed by the cleanliness level of the bathroom and pool area and would never stay here again. In fact, we had booked our room for two nights, and I am just about to go search out another hotel in the area for tomorrow night!
