I spent several weeks in this hotel for business reasons.
From the outside, it doesn't look like a common hotel, as it shares the building with shops and even a consulate. You don't find the reception when you get into the building, but on the 2nd floor, taking an elevator at the end of the lobby.
The rooms are extremely big and newly furnished. Minibar, Wifi, A/C, Flat TV, water complimentary on arrival.
Nice towels. First thing you notice when you enter is a nice fragance from an air freshener.
Only the water pressure was really low, a bit frustrating.
Breakfast is fair. Although fruit quality can be improved.
Service is kind and helpful.
Location is in the main centre, walking distance to sighseeing spots and business area.
In summary, a recommendable option in Skopje.

I was encouraged enough by the reviews on tripadvisor to give this a shot, instead of my usual choice of the Holiday Inn. With hindsight it didn't work for me. TCC Plaza is a funny place, apparently based over a couple of floors in a small tower block.
I stayed in the Presidential suite room which was huge - too big if anything and unusually had a fish tank in a partition wall (nothing wrong with it...).
Breakfast was down to the ground floor in a small cafe. Not a great selection in my opinion.
I want to be positive about the hotel, as there is just not enough choice in Skopje. In terms of value for money it was good, the staff seemed fine, the arranged the airport pickup efficiently, but ultimately I doubt I would go back there. Not really sure how to rate it as you have to take it in comparison to other hotels in Skopje - of which there aren't so many.

Making a reservation via email was efficient and professional (compared to some hotels in Skopje that did not reply to emails or phone calls.) Checking in was quick and enjoyable.

The hotel is of very high standard with facilities and service on par with four to five star hotels in Asia. The rooms are spacious and clean with decor modern including flat screen TVs. The free internet access was much appreciated. The hotel had friendly and efficient staff with good English skills. Breakfast in the restaurant was good.

Next time we are in Skopje we will definitely be going back to TCC Plaza.

TCC Plaza opened in early 2006 and is located in the city center, literally across the parking lot from the Best Western. For starters, the rates tend to be much lower than Best Western and Holiday Inn. The hotel is very quiet, extremely clean, and very modern. The rooms are spacious by European standards and include free wireless internet, and a very good breakfast buffet. There is a spa and fitness center in the basement, which is very professionally managed and a really nice place to unwind. I stay in Skopje about 4 times a year, and the TCC is definately my new first choice. The staff are excellent, unobtrusive, and speak English. The hotel is about 300 meters from Macedonia Square, and within walking distance of the malls, shopping, and plenty of great places to hang out. An outstanding business hotel.
