The location is perfect, almost everything is in walking distance – once you found the hotel, since it only has a little plate on the front showing your're at the right place. The hotel occupies the 4th floor of a business building right behind the "ploschad macedonia" central square. The room was clean and spacious, stuff was friendly and spoke english and german (maybe among others...). The Duvet is a no-frills hotel where you feel the efforts made to bring some atmosphere into a otherwise boring bulding. Decide yourself weather you like the style...

We, a family of 5, stayed here for 3 nights in total, 2 when we arrived and 1 night before we flew back from Skopje.
The apartment is huge, has 2 bedrooms and a big sofabed. Internet and breakfast in the hotel is included.
Keep in mind that the apartment is not in the same building as the hotel. Additionally the hotel is difficult to find as it doesn't have big signs on the outside, just a plaque with the name of the hotel on it.
Like the hotel, the apartment is located in the city center.
We paid 100 euros per night, cheaper than 2 rooms in the hotel.

I have come to Skopje several times now on business, and have sampled a range of the "international " hotels. The Hotel Duvet surpasses all the rest (which were all perfectly decent, I must note). Good-sized rooms, nicely decorated (comfortable bed, good lighting, GREAT shower, flat-screen TV, enough clothes hangers, tea & coffee facilities, etc). Excellent location - just off the main square, restaurants, bars, etc, and close by the river. Free and fast internet, and nice helpful staff. The hotel is small - it only has 10 rooms - which gives it a friendly feel. Only downside is no eating facilities in the hotel (except breakfast), but hey, with all those great restaurants within a few minutes walk, that's not big deal. Not budget accommodation, but fairly reasonable - I paid €77 a night for a "business" room.Standard rooms (not sure what the difference is) are a little cheaper.

I stayed in this hotel in September 2008 for four nights and would definitely stay here again

I would say for Skopje the Duvet Hotel is probably at the more expensive end of the market but is still good value for money, we paid 90 euros per night for a double room which included breakfast

The hotel is located in a great location of Skopje literally 1 minute off Makedonija Square thus making it a good base to explore the many delights of Skopje!

The hotel could be a little tricky to find for the first time if arriving by yourself at night as the sign for the hotel is quite small, we arrived in the early evening from Skopje airport by taxi so we had no problems finding it

The hotel is located at the top floor of the building accessible by a lift, the lift is relatively small so if there are more than 2 people arriving with luggage it might be advisable to make a couple of trips to avoid over crowding

Hotel Duvet has 10 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms with shower cubicles, the showers are great!

All rooms are stylishly decorated with flat screen tv’s, the room also has air conditioning which came in very handy as the temperatures in Skopje were still in the 30’s even in September

The hotel reception area also has a separate area for serving breakfast, I’m afraid I didn’t make breakfast any of the days so I cant say how it was, there is no bar in the hotel but there is a mini bar in the bedroom with beers, wines soft drinks and snacks, also in the reception area cold drinks (beers, soft drinks) are in a small fridge and can be purchased from reception

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful with many of the questions we had during our stay

The hotel can also organise an airport transfer, I am not sure if they do a pick up service from the airport to the hotel but they gave us a lift from the hotel to the airport for our flight for 25 euros, this is something I would recommend as the taxi drivers in Skopje will charge a higher rate

All in all I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and would have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again and would recommend to friends or family
