Very good value place with off street parking, free wifi and friendly english speaking staff.

The hotel is a little out of the way but a metered taxi to the bus station only cost us 1 euro.

The Vila Silia is a small hotel in a quiet suburb just outside the city centre. My room (the yellow one) was large and bright and airy, with a huge window looking out onto some fir trees. I thought the price very reasonable. The shower, etc were excellent, with masses of hot water, and the air-conditioning worked beautifully. I slept very well indeed. There's a cafe just down the road where you can get breakfast.

The hotel is new, and many Skopje taxi-drivers don't know it yet, so when you go out it's best to have the address and telephone number(s) on a bit of paper in your pocket.

I'm tempted to say that this place is too far out, but the taxis are so cheap compared with the UK that it wasn't really a concern (less than £1 to the centre). Located in the suburbs this hotel has a homely feel, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating to my various demands! The room was very large and had everything I could need. Breakfast was served in the room and cost an additional 5 Euros, which was expensive for what it was. The only other minor issue was that I spoke to some local people who were shocked at how much I was paying. I would investigate this further...

Very nice place, where I rest after hard working day. It is in location where the air is clean and fresh. Really nice place to spent the night alone, and with company :)
