We stayed in this hotel for three nights in January, while we were travelling the Balkans. While the hotel is close to the center, it is by no means in the most convenient location, especially during winter time. We had to take a taxi to the center all the time, but it did not cost a lot since the taxis are relatively cheap in Skopje.

Other than that, the hotel staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and the rooms are satisfactory. We stayed in two different rooms and the first one had an entrenched smell of cigarettes even though the hotel has a no-smoking policy in the rooms – we can place the blame on the guests. And the second room had a leaky shower. However, other than that, the rooms and bathrooms were well-heated, there was constant hot water and the rooms had all the basic amenities. The breakfast was not the richest type, but still served its purpose.

Overall, we liked Hotel Victoria and would recommend it to those who would like to stay in a nice and not so expensive place in Skopje.

Hotel Victoria is in modern side of Skopje. By walk; 20 minutes from city center (I mean Old Town). Rooms are well furbished and equipped.

If 15-20 minutes walking distance is OK for you we recommend this hotel for travelers.

Located on a quiet street that is surprisingly close to the center of town, The Victoria is a small boutique hotel or a large B&B. Either way, the rooms were comfortable, amenities plentiful, the bathroom huge with a very large jacuzzi, and the breakfast more than adequate. The staff was very accommodating and we had no real complaints.
