hotel dal met fu is not really a hotel in the common meaning: it's just a few rooms above a large restaurant. it's ideal for people looking for a perfectly central location and modernly furnished and clean rooms. air conditioning is perfectly working, toilets are ok with hairdryer. good buffet breakfast donstairs at the restaurant.
UPS: location, cleanliness, friendly staff, modern rooms, air conditioning, good buffet breakfast
DOWNS: not suitable for people looking for a hotel where to ask tourist informations and be pampered by receptionists or concierge. the reception -basically just a small desk- is 90% of the times unmanned and telephone calls therefore not passed to rooms. a steep stair giving access to the rooms from the restaurant downstairs, is not suitable for handicapped people or for visitors with heavy baggage. breakfast officially from 07AM, on holidays and sundays is never actually served until after 08AM at soonest. noise from outdoor café can be rather disturbing (although not unbearable) until rather late at night for front facing rooms.
i was happy to stay here however and would love to come back whenever in skopje, also considering the good rate at 69€ for a twin bedded room.
