I and my family stayed from 5th of November to 9th of November in Hotel Continental. We left our luggages in luggage room in departure date and walked around in Skopje. When We came back, our luggages weren't in the luggage room. We learnt that a receptionist gave our luggage to anybody. 3 hours left to our flight. This problem deleted our five perfect days This hotel is not safety and reliable!!!!!! Personel has not responsibility.

I stayed in hotel room on level 1. It was renovated despite old curtains. One thing amazed me that I could here guests from next room like they are in my room. In bathroom is even worst.
Location is quite good and they have very good internet connection. personal is nice and please dont forget to lock the door as it is normal that around 8:30 am cleanesr will open the door and would like to clean your room. It happend to me 3 times and never evr knocked on the door. There is not even sign you can put on the door":Dont dicturb". Overall is fine.

I choose Continental only when I want to visit the Skopje fairground, because it is next to the hotel.
I have stayed there since 2000, and
it is remarkable how much this place remains the same! I must admit however that the room I stayed on the 4th floor was renovated, except the old curtains and the antique air-condition.
I cannot say the same for my colleague's room on the seventh floor. The room was an old times classic, with aged, worn out walls, furniture and toilet.
In and out the ambience keeps the dull character of
socialist times. It is a pitty, because this hotel could have been
the best in the city, had it properly reconstructed.
The restaurant is average but cheap. Also the rooms were modestly priced (about 60 euros, including breakfast). This is the reason that someone should not be so demanding and so strict in the overall rating.

Its been a long time since i have visited Continental. Now there are lot of thigs that has been changed.Recently I had a business stay and I can assure you that its very nice place to stay ! Affordable prices , rooms renovated in modern style and unique view of the city!
