Stayed for almost a week in this lovely hotel with an exceptionalloy GOOD restaurant and an extensive and rich menu to die for. The service was way above any place you would find in Macedonia or the Balkans, food was served quickly and staff spoke English (for the most part), breakfast was plentiful and included yogurt and fruits in addition to the delicious pastries. Loved the tennis court and shooting range as well as the atmosphere in the restaurant - very upscale, obviously attracts well-off people who love gourmet food superbly arranged/displayed The wild boar dish was to die for as well as the wine selection. Chose their own-made Kamnik wines (98+ points) and visited their Chateau Kamnik winery for an exceptional wine tasting experience (learned a lot about wines from their knowledgeable staff). The live music at the restaurant added to the eperience as well. Why doesn't Macedonia have more places like this? Looking forward to my next visit to Kamnik in September of 2010 with a group of my friends from the US (two of whom have already been there and want to go back again). Watch the desserts if you are on a diet - way too tempting and dellicious (wow) but well worth it and hard to resist. The Macedonian hospitality shines at this place for sure.
