The Andover Inn recently reopened after a major renovation. The rooms and public areas are lovely. Slightly contemporary furnishings, but still in keeping with the architecture of the buildings. We had a room with two double beds and a desk area. The bathroom was spacious and fitted with stone countertops, etc.
Technically there is no room service, which is odd and the front desk did not inform us of that fact. I was a bit surprised the next morning when I tried to place a room service menu for breakfast (there is an in-room dining direct dial on the phone). They were nice enough to send one of the maintenance guys up with our breakfast, so they did try to work with me. Overall, a really nice hotel.

The most decadent food I've had in quite some time. I would say that the ingredients are as fresh as can be and the service matched the great food. What a beautiful outside patio that I enjoyed while waiting for my date sipping a martini. I can't wait to come back.
