This was a spacious and charming and space with plenty of room for me, my boyfriend and two friends in the room for only $100! Breakfast is only muffins but there are plenty of bakeries and coffee shops within a two minute walk. LOVED it!

Our family and friends all enjoyed their stay in the fabulous Carriage House- at Emily's Bed and Breakfast. We filled it up (9 of us) for five fun days while visiting our daughter in Amherst. Emily and gang go out of their way to provide lovely food and drink and pleasantries. This establishment exemplifies what most of all the Amherst folk are like. We're coming back next month for graduation weekend, and we encourage you to try Emily's!

I shared the Emily suite with a friend and we found ourselves marveling over its many comforts and thoughtful touches: great books, a well-stocked refrigerator and pantry, valentine-colored towels in the bathroom, a crazy-quilt on the bed, and a lovingly-cared for tree growing in the window! This place suited us perfectly, as it is comfortable and stylish without being fussy or too precious. I loved being able to walk into town and come home at midnight and make a cup of tea! Even more, it was great to get up on our own schedule and make our own breakfast without having to sit and chat in a formal dining room. I would return to Emily's without hesitation - and gracious, you can't beat the price! - and would recommend the place to anyone looking for a fun, informal, and beautifully kept place to stay in Amherst.

I stayed at Emely's Bed & Breakfast with my six year old daughter and husband and obsolutely loved it. It felt like we were back in Emily Dickensons' time. That is what we were looking for. We wanted the real taste of Amherst with history and uniquiness. Place was clean, comfortable, and warm. I usually afraid to stay at bed & breakfast which looks like a museum. This place was very home like and we were not afraid that our daugther will break something. Every day we had fresh milk, bread, fruits, and many other things. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
