There's nothing horrible about this inn, there just wasn't anything to make it special. It's a large victorian house that has been well restored. We decided to spend more on a b&b rather than a hotel for a romantic ambiance. Visually the house had charm, but it felt empty and cold (not temperature-wise). We were the only people there over the weekend, so that contributed to this feeling. The people that run the inn are very nice, but they're not the owners and do not live there. It doesn't feel bed & breakfasty at all. There is a whiny cat that we were invited to throw outside if he became annoying, which he did, but it didn't seem right to toss the creature out of his own house. I don't mind spending more than for a nice place to hang around, but we didn't want to spend any more time than necessary at the inn. Maybe this would be a good place to stay if you fill the place up with your own peoples.
