I stayed at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront so I could do my scuba diving certification. I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. I've stayed at hotels all over the world and this was one of the best experiences i've had at a hotel. The entire staff was extremely friendly and very professional. The hotel has literally the best location in all of Annapolis on the water, a block from all the downtown shops, restaurants and bars and a stones throw from the Naval Academy. The hotel is very unique and has tons of character and our room had an amazing view. I definitely recommend the pure room upgrade. The only thing i didn't enjoy was that we couldn't stay there longer. I loved it and will definitely stay there again.

If you have a son or daughter visiting or attending USNA, this location is ideal. The rooms are expensive but with the traffic you will find in Annapolis it allows you to walk to virtually any location at USNA or in the city dock area. Some of the rooms are just standard hotels type rooms but if you want a real treat- we recommend the waterfront rooms. They are more expensive but if you are looking for a great view of the water or better yet a view of the Naval Academy, it is well worth the money. For those new parents with sons or daughters attending USNA, thisis an ideal place for your plebe parents weekend. It allows them to walk back to the academy at night and not to worry about the time and traffic issue you will find is something you must account for as being late is not an option. Don't miss a dinner water front at Pussers- the hotel restaurant and do ask for a table on the water- well worth the wait.

On a business trip and stayed hear for a night. I love the location but the hotel is getting a little old. It needs a little work, but i liked it. Its so close to everything. I went out to eat, and the local food was perfect. I walked downtown and yes did a little shopping bought my wife a few hats. They shipped them UPS. Hope she likes them. Annapolis is a nice town. This is a good place to stay but it is a little pricy

Maggie, the front desk assistant, is the first one to welcome you and she does such a great job. My wife and I found the entire staff excellent, another tribute to Marriott's Hiring/training program. The hotel is literally in the water at the harbor and the views are good with sailing and power boats on two sides. Make sure to go around back and sit on the benches to watch the harbor activity. The facility is a bit old but this is the historic district so I would not have it very modern. All my creature comforts were handled well. The bar and restaurant offers views of the harbor and are manned by very competent staff too. Stay on a high floor if you can for the better views. Make sure to have Maggie handle your restaurant reservations for you in town. As I inferred, she knows the best ones (and they know her.) Would hep to stay there again as we venture forth.
