Very Nice Loews quality hotel only a 10 minute walk from the Annapolis harbor. We stayed here for our anniversary and got the room with the private outside patio (there are only 2 know as "premium kings" - but well worth it). We would recommend the hotel but are giving it a lower score because we arrived at 3:00 to check in and were not allowed into our room until 5:00! Front desk staff was mildly apologetic and didn't offer us a drink or anything...pretty aggravating...plus the hotel is "pet friendly" and when I pointed out some doggy pee on the floor in the foyer to the front desk they didn't do anything about it! Oh well...looks like Loews needs to reinforce customer service on their employees.

My husband and I stayed at the Loews for one night during our Annapolis stay. We were able to book the room through Hotwire for $88/night - that included taxes. For that price, it was a good room and relatively clean. First the bad, there were a couple towels that appeared to have been used and not replaced with new and the trash cans were still full. When we mentioned this to the front desk they basically said, "oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Now the good, it was $88/night and just down the street from the Ram's Head Tavern. We arrived fairly late after a 4.5 hr ride and were happy to have a place to rest close to a good watering hole. We left the hotel at 6:45 the next morning for our kayak adventure. We came back, freshened up and then headed over to the hotel we booked for the rest of the trip.

The Loews was a good place to rest, the bedding was comfortable. I would suggest something closer to Main St. though that has more charm/uniqueness.

I stayed three nights while at a conference. I hated that I had to pay for internet. But, the room was comfortable and the location was good. Far enough off the main street that you're out of traffic, but close walking distance. Would stay here again, but not if I got a better rate somewhere else.

Nice rooms, we had a "view" room with a less than spectacular view. The atrium can be loud during events but they seem to be sensitive about events ending at reasonable hours. This is a short little walk down to the historic area but it is a good distance to be away and still relaxing to walk to and from each day. Annapolis AND this hotel are very dog friendly so if you are considering that, I would encourage it, I wish we had brought our dogs!
