“We found charm, convenience and elegance at Georgian House in Annapolis.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 March 2011

The Georgian House B & B is perfectly located adjacent to but just a block away from the main street in Annapolis. Thus conveniently located but buffered from the evening's street life. Lovely home with elegant appointments, hosted by folks who know how to make you feel at home, while not intruding on your activities. Will stay there again soon.

“Maybe the best kept secret in Annapolis!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

My wife and I had the best time ever in Annapolis when we stayed at the Georgian House B&B. We were coming to town to see a friends’ band, and wanted someplace romantic to stay – The last thing we wanted was a big chain hotel. After doing a ton of research on line, and reading countless reviews, we settled on the Georgian House. We couldn’t have made a better choice. It’s central location put us within walking distance of everything. We never even touched the car all weekend.

Ann and Tom were the best hosts anyone could ask for…helpful, but not intrusive. The grounds and building were immaculate, with an old world charm that just can’t be “made” or “bought. It has to be lived in and passed down through the centuries to feel this way. Our room was beautiful and clean, and the full bath was sparkling. We even had a view out over the garden.

After checking in, we asked Ann for a dinner recommendation for a place that was close to where our friend’s band was playing (the Ram’s Head). She suggested a quaint little place just a couple of doors down from the venue. We took her advice, and she even made the reservation for us. My wife and I had a fabulous dinner right out on the sidewalk, and the food was superb. We even saw the band walk by and chatted with them a bit. Chalk another one up for Ann and Tom.

We enjoyed our show, and then a couple more nightspots before heading back to the Georgian House for a wonderful, peaceful night’s sleep. We almost slept through breakfast, and that would have been a shame. Breakfast was phenomenal, and Ann’s special French toast put it over the top. We enjoyed the food and the company of the other guests, who, like us, were very pleased with their stay.

I would highly recommend the Georgian House as a great place to stay with great food and gracious innkeepers, at a most affordable price. We will be staying there again this spring when we head back to Annapolis.

“Wonderful Hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 March 2010

Stayed their during USNA Homecoming Weekend. Great breakfast in a wonderful dining room. Very friendly hosts. Rooms were cozy , their were books to read and videos to play in your rooms. Very close to the main street where all the restaurants and nightlife is located.

“Wonderful time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2008

Delightful hosts, a beautiful, historic house, and nice breakfasts. The room was small, but perfectly adequate for this type of accomodation. The house was very quiet - no noise from street or other rooms. We would definitely stay again.

“lovely place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2008

Ann the innkeeper waa so nice and she had a great breakfast. We stayed in the Samuel Chase room it was small but comfortable with a lovely little balcony. So close to the little downtown area just a stroll away. We were coming back from a trip to Bar Harbor Ma. stayed in B and B's going and coming, only one dissapointment and it was not this one.The only negative was we had to park in a parking garage directly behind the home.
