I travel alot and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October, and was completely disappointed and frustrated. It didn't meet any of the standards I've grown to expect.
The most disgusting thing was that the dishes/glasses/flatware were filthy. Lipstick on the coffee cups and some really nasty-looking things on the spoons and forks and glasses.
Also, there was no phonebook in the room, and also no Kleenex or hair dryer or shampoo or paper towels. The basics all hotels provide. And, as another reviewer said, there is no front desk service from 11pm to 7am so when your family from California calls you at 8:15pm Western time, there is nobody to help and they often get directed to another person's room. You're on your own and flying blind.
The phone system is the most abysmal system I've ever seen in a hotel, in traveling throughout the US for 40 years. Even when the front desk is open, calls get directed all over the place. I was there to visit friends and family and nobody could reach me. By the time they did, they were angry at me that I was even staying there. This happened several times.
You would have to pay me to stay in this hotel again. The location was great. The hotel and the service (none) and amenities (none) were an abomination. It was so bad that I talked to the desk people twice, and they just smiled and said, "oh, sorry....but have a nice day." They didn't seem to care at all.
