“Excellent B&B/Hotel in historic downtown Annapolis”

We recently stayed Saturday night at Gibsons Lodgings next to the Naval Academy Pedestrian Entrance on Prince George Street. Lauer House is more like a hotel than a B&B. If you want the more traditional B&B then stay in Berman or Patterson house. There is ample parking on Gibson's private parking lot at your front door. Breakfast Sunday morning was excellent in two dining rooms, with fresh waffles. I stongly recommend staying at Gibsons Lodgings in Annapolis. DJM

Room Tip: Lauer House is like a hotel. Berman and Patterson Houses are like a B&B

“What a Find!!!”

My husband and I have tried different places to stay in Annapolis, and by far, Gibson's Lodging is the best. The staff is amazing and will provide you with whatever you need. Meredith and Christina exuded hospitality. When we arrived, we were offered hot coffee or tea and other goodies. This was a great added touch. Our room was nice and very clean. The little "kitchen" was stocked with snacks, sodas, and hot beverages.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations. They had a wide variety of choices that included fresh bagels (my husband said they were the best he ever had), fresh fruit, a spectacular waffle bar, and many other goodies. We look forward to staying here again when we come back!

“My Favorite Bed and Breakfast, Hands Down!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

I first discovered Gibson''s 12 years ago when I stayed there on business. Since then it has become my favorite B&B. When my family and I want a short getaway in Annapolis we especially enjoy Winter when it isn't very crowded.

Gibson's is also located at the epicenter of the Annapolis restaurant scene! The property is owned and managed by Meredith Lauer. She and her staff do everything possible to make sure that their guests are comfortable and well attended.

The B&B consists of several historic buildings maintained to the highest possible standards of cleanliness, and syle. I especially like parking in their free interior courtyard and being able to walk to most of historic Annapolis' harborside restaurants and shops in a couple of minutes.

Gibson's borders the Naval Academy fence and is one short block from the harbor. Perfect! There are dens and public rooms where you can sit and watch Cable TV, visit with friends or simply curl up with a good book. It feels like home.

Mini-kitchens have bottled water, cookies, candy, coffee and teas available to guests 24/7. The breakfast at Gibson's is a fairly basic continental breakfast. However, if you need a shot of protein for breakfast, there are 2-3 restaurants within a 1-3 minute walk from Gibson's.

I visited Gibson's earlier this week with my eldest married daughter, and will return at month's end with my wife for our wedding Anniversary. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Annapolis.

Room Tip: Call to ask what kind of room will fit your needs. They have rooms with a single bed, or twin beds a...

“Beautiful B&B - great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

This is a wonderful b&b in the heart of Annapolis. Located right next to the Naval Academy, there is so much to see and do within walking distance of the inn. The off street parking is also very convenient. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly.
If this is your first time coming to this inn, call and check your MapQuest or Expedia directions with the staff. I just happened to call and Christina went over my directions and gave me some very helpful hints to find their address. It gets a little tricky because of all the one way streets around the location. We'll be back again I hope soon!
