We had a nice stay at this very spacious and clean B&B. It was a great bargain and I would recommend it! The host was very welcoming and helpful.

While the Taylor house is very clean and spacious, we will pass if we are ever in town again. If you do stay here I do suggest you don't stay downstairs as this is the innkeepers home as well and they kept very late hours when we were there, carrying on in the kitchen and communal living room while we were trying to sleep. My husband and I chose this room as it was the only room with a private bathroom connected. Both the innkeeper and her mother insisted we didn't lock the other end of the jack and jill bathroom. When we did lock it we'd find when we came back it wasn't locked. It was a weird stay. The bed in the bedroom was to short for my husbands frame of 5'10", he ended up sleeping on the floor. If you are looking to get away to a nice relaxing bed and breakfast I wouldn't choose this one. We didn't get any sleep and almost packed up and left in the middle of the night. I felt entirely uncomfortable here.

Located in a charming semi rural area minutes from the center of Annapolis The Taylor house has it all, outlook, large rooms, position, a great breakfast, service, a charming host and Grandma who is full of tales of life in the area.

I was able to get to the metro and get in and out of Washington avoiding the hassles of driving and parking.

A good evening meal was not hard to find in Annapolis but perhaps priced a bit above where I thought it should be.

All in all a great experience.

We are delighted to have found the Taylor House when we visited Annapolis. It is a beautiful, clean home, and Sophie is a wonderful hostess. The Taylor House is located in a beautiful country setting, but is just a few minutes drive from downtown Annapolis. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, with all of the comforts of home. The rate is very reasonable - the best value by far compared to the other places we saw available online.
Traveling with small children isn't easy, but The Taylor House was ideal for our needs. We would highly recommend The Taylor House to anyone considering a visit to Annapolis. We will definitely stay there when we go back.
