My husband and I (and dog) stayed at Bear Creek Crossing B&B for our anniversary weekend in February 2011. The proprietor was really conscientious about scheduling the trip so that there wouldn't be any families with young kids staying at the B&B during our time there as well. She called several times between when we made the reservation and when we arrived to make sure that everything was set and that we were taken care of completely. When we arrived I was very impressed by how at home I felt at the place. The entire house was immaculate and tastefully adorned as a country cottage, but at the same time, the light from the windows and openness of the floor plan made the place feel spacious and welcoming. Again, I felt right at home - making tea in the kitchen, watching TV on the main floor and lounging by the fire place with my husband. The breakfasts were ENORMOUS and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to people looking for the B&B feel, but also looking for something in close proximity to the resort. I cannot say enough about the B&B and the proprietors. It was a very lovely anniversary weekend.
