What an amazing weekend my partner and I just experienced. We were supposed to go out to this B&B earlier in December but due to his daughters broken arm had to push back this stay and Peggy was so accommodating.
We went out for two nights and well my BF did not have 4wheel drive nor winter tires and we got real stuck on their driveway. We called them and Peggy said that Buz would be right down. Buz came down took me up with our stuff then turned around to help my BF dig out his Rav4. Peggy helped me to put stuff away and relax.
Lets just say the whole time spent with them was great- yummy breakfasts, nice room-small bathroom but cozy none the less- we stayed in the Spruce. Buz was our driver to our car if we needed him.
I highly recommend this B&B and have stayed at quite a few in my life.

We had a great long weekend at Bear Crossing. We went dogsledding nearby and enjoyed the winter weather. We would highly recommend it for its laid back and cozy atmosphere.

Peggy & Buzz are great hosts and offer clean, comfortable accommodations on a beautiful property close to everything going on in the area. The breakfasts were wonderful and we really felt pampered. They know the area extremely well & were able to recommend restaurants, hiking trails, and other activities (we hadn't visited the area before). It was great to meet such wonderful people, and I'm sure we'll be back for another visit.

We had a delightful time at this cozy B&B. Peggy welcomed our family, gave us good advice on local places to go, and cooked huge and delicious breakfasts for us! The bathroom was small, but the king size bed, beautiful decorations, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere more than made up for it. A great place to stay if you are looking for a nice little nest outside of town. Next time maybe we'll also take advantage of the massage service!
