Upon arrival, I noticed the well-kept property. It was my first B&B experience, so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised.
The home was clean and cosy. The hostess was welcoming, and attentive, and yet gave me enough 'space' to relax. She asked me when I would like breakfast in the morning and it was done right on time (She made French Toast that you would kill for. And her biscuits could invoke a lawsuit from Cracker Barrel! They were SO good!).
The room I stayed in was perfect. No 'frilly' extras - makes you think of a staged model home in the country. The bathroom was clean (BIG plus) and had a few cleaning and hygiene supplies already available. The shower, though, was quite small my 6ft+ physical build.
There was material from local restaurants and establishments that really helped with my stay. The hostess even provided suggestions as well.
At night, it's PITCH BLACK and pin-drop quiet; excellent for sleep.
The grounds, again, were well kept. The 'resident' dog was no nuisance either...well trained.
WELL worth a second visit (which I am planning to do soon).
