“You have got to not bring kids or adults for that matter”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2010

We stay here in early december. The rugs hadent been clean and were filthy and we couldnt get a refund so we suffered. So we had a 5 day stay. In 4nights we caught 10 TEN that is mice that came out of the walls and parts of the wall were not solid and cracking plus the window have have the front glass broke not fixed. Doesnt have fruit or bagels in the morning only bread n cereal with milk n juice. CAN HEAR MUSIC downstairs in a upstairs rm.

“WOW....Not what I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

For the price I expected alot less than what was received. The service was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean. Upon check in the manager even walked with us to the room to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It surprisingly was. We even brought air freshener anticipating a musky smell.....didn't need it. The lounge is roomy and nice - the staff was very friendly and the food was great. I would definately stay here anytime.

“Will stay again, felt like family”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

Travel to Aberdeen approximately two times per year, and stayed at some of the finest hotels if you want to rate them by how expensive they are. This trip, stayed at the Travelodge in Aberdeen. Was delightfully surprised. The staff is some of the most pleasant staff I have run across. The manager Mansab made us feel welcome. The evening clerk Abdul, was one of the most delightful I have deal with. Tomaz the night clerk was very pleasant. When a light burnt out or the air wasn't working the maintenance man Chuck was right on the scene to fix it. The maids ( Beverly, Patricia, and Rachel) would keep the rooms clean. So the bottom line is that after spending 4 months here I was able to experience a wonderful stay without breaking the bank. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away. I am a seasoned traveler and this hotel will be the top on my list when I return.

“Not as bad as anticipated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2010

We booked this hotel & then read reviews. Not good. We went through Priceline and they won't let you cancel once you book. We were stuck or lose the money.
Reviews really scared us so we went prepared with cleaner & disinfectant & camera for documentation to the credit card co. The room was clean. We asked for and got non-smoking. Some open rooms did have a musty odor as we passed by. The parking lot was full, so many others stayed there as well. The room appeared to have been renovated within the last 2 or 3 years. Bathroom was clean, towels & shower curtain as well as the facilities and floor. Mattresses were stiff and for me a little hard to sleep on. I like memory foam. Room had a refrigerator & microwave & coffee maker along with a TV and radio. Carpet was navy with maroon square pattern. If it was spotless it would still look questionable. Bad color. I didn't see any stains and I looked. The upholstered chairs in the room were stained and univiting. Air conditioning was nice and cold. We needed a place to stop for the night or maybe 2 if need be. I would not plan a lengthy stay at this type of hotel. We expected the worst but did not get it.
