“glad we found this one”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

While neither one of us knew our way around Augusta this was easy to find. We were able to get on and off the highway with ease. The room was very small but cozy. It was very clean and neat. They even left extra towels for us each night without even being asked. The beds were comfortable. The refridgerator and microwave were great to have for the leftovers. Though we were only there a few nights we will definately be going back again and again.

“A good choice if you're looking for "clean and cheap".”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We stayed here for two non-consecutive nights in November 2011. The rooms had king-size beds and were clean and comfortable. The heating unit in the first room worked on only one heat - high - and had to be manually turned on and off but that was a minor inconvenience. Also, the upholstery on the desk chair was stained on the seat. The continental breakfast was adequate and the eating area at one side of the lobby had nice furniture. The room on our second night had no issues. The furniture is modern and the units have obviously been updated. I would stay here again.

“Nonsmoking room had odor from stair well”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

First, I want to say if I'd known there was ANY smoking in the hotel, I wouldn't have booked a nonrefundable room, I would have looked elsewhere. My fault. When I saw that I'd accidentally booked a smoking room, I called the hotel to change it. The clerk was combative on the phone, and told me she would be unable to change it until I arrived. Okay, but I had to hope a nonsmoking room would be available when i got there. The clerk was friendly to me in person, though, and apologetic. So I got a nonsmokers room, but it was close to the stair well, so although the smoke didn't bother me, the room did have the faint odor of old ashtray, and the vending machines were on the first floor, in a smokey hallway. The room would have been nice, a pleasant view, comfortable bed, (though the pillows were lacking) and flat screen tv. If it wasn't for the underlying odor, I actually I would have preferred it to some of the five star hotels I've stayed at. But the odor wasn't worth it.

Room Tip: The rooms further away from the stairwells, might have had less of an ashtray odor.

“no dogs”

I was traveling with my show dogs and was informed when I got up there by a sign on the door that pets weren't allowed, so I was unable to stay and was charged for the room. Their is nothing on the website that states pets arn't allowed. The customer behind me also stated that she was unaware pets weren't allowed as she also booked online. The front desk staff was rood and no help at all. I would never reccomend this site to anyone.

“Clean & comfortable. Great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

My husband and I had a family function in the area and needed a place for the night that wasn't too expensive. We both found the service to be friendly and the room clean, comfortable and well appointed considering the low price tag. We weren't there for the view or the ambiance... just a clean, nice room and that's what we got. We did have their complimentary breakfast and it was fresh and well presented. Of course it wasn't the Ritz, but I would definitely stay there again.
