I have stayed here several times over the last couple of years. I have also stayed at other hotels in Augusta which gives me an oportunity to compare it with others.
First the location is just off the highway allowing easy access to other local towns and cities. A gas station/mini-market is immediately across the street. It also has a 99 Restaurant attached to the hotel which is a great conveinence for lunch/dinner or drinks. If you venture down the street you will get a mix of big box stores, restaurants, movie theatres, etc. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a decent continental breakfast and pleasant service.

I've stayed in all the medium priced hotels in the Augusta area, this is by the property I will always go back to!

Excellent professional service with nice comfortable clean rooms.

This is not a five star facility but it was definitely worth $100 a night. We stayed 10 nights and got a long term rate of $100 for a King Suite. Hotels are always pricey in Augusta especially in the summer. We had our two grandsons most of the time and they slept on a pull out couch. I don't think it would be comfortable for an adult. We tried a portable bed for one night and it was horrible. They have a nice indoor pool and exercise room. The staff is very nice. My favorite hotel in augusta is still Quality Inn especially on the second floor We've never stayed in the older rooms on the outside They are not as large but would probably be OK in the summer. We have also stayed in the Best Western which is nice but we did not like paying for breakfast. It was 20-25 each morning and the younger grandson doesn't eat very much. I think Fairfield might be the best but it is a little over our budget It was nice to have an extra room at Comfort Inn since we had a long stay.
The pool area is really warm even for our December visit. The pool was too cool for me but they have a nice hot tub.
