We stayed in this motel one night and couldn’t wait to leave. The room and the bedding smelled terrible. Both box springs were stained with what looked like blood. A plastic fork and fast food wrapper were visible under the bed. The blankets were matted and stained. No hair dryer, shampoo, or fridge. If you stay in this motel, bring your sleeping bag! We simply wanted a cheap, no frills stop over for the night but ended up sleeping with all our clothes on, with the blanket/comforter on the floor. Put a bath towel over the pillow too ! Avoid this place !

My wife and myself have stayed overnight there on and off for the last 7 years.At first it was decent then slowly started to go down hill to the point where it seemed to be a sort of welfare motel.The last time we stayed there it was under new management and they seemed to be trying to get it back in fairly good shape.However the housekeeping staff seemed to drop the ball as the room was not made up and the new room the clerk put us in had a missing blanket.The clerk gave us a blanket knocked 5 dollars off the bill and seemed sincere that they were really trying to make positive improvements.I would give it another try to see if it decent again.

I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. For the price the rooms are very tidy and of a very good size. The beds are very good and the location of the hotel is unbeatable. The staff were fantastic and even called me 20 minutes after I checked in to see if my room was ok and everything was good which I though was amazing for a budget hotel.

Also the free wifi was great at speed.

I would recomend this Hotel for anyone on a budget and wants to see Maine and its attractions.

I will stay here again on my next trip to Augusta, Maine
