Just wanted to say thank you to Mark and Lynn for making our visit to Maine so nice. We cmae to visit our 4 grandkids (ages 2,3,5, and 8) just for a few days during Christmas break from Pennsylvania. Of course being we dont get to see them much, they wanted to come to the motel with us. Unfortunately the weather didnt co-operate too well but still had fun at the motel. Mark and Lynn were very accommodating with extra towels, pillows, etc. Even gave us old towels for the kiddos shoes when we went hiking on the trails behind the motel. Would highly recommend to all visiting the area. The room was super clean and comfortable- the fridge microwave was a plus too with 4 kids.

We stayed one night at this motel, the people there are very nice and friendly.

The unit itself was clean and nice.

The motel itself is very clean and well maintained, inside and out. The furnishings are a little dated however they are in good shape. There are some nice touches with the microwave, refrigerator, etc.
The reason for the average rating is that we slept very badly because of noise from trains which ran very frequently, all night! Also we both developed heat rashes from the pillows - the rest of the bedding wasn't a problem so either the pillowcases had been washed in something different or it was the pillows themselves. We found wrapping the pillows in towels solved the problem.

We just returned from a wonderful visit to Maine. Our stay at the Sleepy Time Motel was truly enjoyable, our room was clean and comfortable. Our hosts Mark & lynn were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recomend a stay at Sleepy Time Motel and would plan to stay there againg when we return to Maine.
