The hotel is staffed by rude people who grudgingly come in from smoke breaks to hand patrons keys and check them in. The whole place reeks of curry powder to the point of nausea! This is a clear case of the incompetent mgmt. leading the unconscious staff who could care less that your room is missing wash cloths, kleenex and other items. The place is ranked 2 out of 2 because there are only 2 in Amite, and they are run by the same owners--Patels. Best advice--stay in another town!

Everything worked perfectly, & smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly. The only complaint is the old comforters and Huge box tvs. If these two items were replaced, you would think this was a Brand New hotel!

The room was immaculate and everything in it worked properly, including the free Wifi. What more could you ask? The complimentary breakfast was tasty and well-presented. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here a few days prior to Hurricane Gustav in order to attend a family wedding. The owner called a few days before our arrival to update us on the status of the weather and hotel availablity. He was very helpful and accommodating of our needs.
The room was very clean and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Louisiana.
