Clean, welcoming rooms maintained by an attentive but casual staff. WONDERFUL pool and jacuzzi. Working fitness equipment. Decent breakfast. Internet is free and snappy!!

We traveled to Alexandria in July of 2011, for the girls softball world series. We were placed in this roach coach without choice. Hotel did not have enough amperage to power the hotel, and our power went out in our rooms 3 times over a 5 night stay. Front desk was rude as hell. They would not give us clean towels, and did not have enough soap to go around. Pool was small, and outdated. This hotel is a former hampton, but does not show it anymore. Run by arabs that do not speak english. Hair dryer cord was taped up. Do not waste your time. I would stay in Motel 6 before here.

During a work trip we stayed at the Baymont. My reservation was not found so the gentleman gave me a room. He honored my corporate discount and gave me a handicap room since it was "more spacious". The gesture was nice but I would have been fine in a normal room. Free internet and breakfast were included. They have the make your own waffle section as well as other hot and cold selections. When you first see the hotel it looks as if it were abandoned but keep driving and you'll see the actual hotel. The pool looked decent and I was surprised with the Buddha decor in the lobby.

My husband and I stayed in the Baymont in Alexandria, La. because our granddaughter was playing a softball game there. From the time of booking until we leave we are never disappointed. Check in is easy, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is good and checkout is easy. Thanks to Cheryl at the front desk because she makes our visits very pleasant.
