The hotel is newer and clean. The staff was fairly friendly but the beds were very uncomfortable. Felt like I was sleeping on a board.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a few weeks on and off during the summer of 2011. We were in transition from relocating to Alexandria at the time. I have never met a friendlier staff. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. The hotel provided a variety of different breakfast options daily. The rooms were cute too. We stayed in a regular room and a suite as well. The suite had a living room area with a couch and a coffee table. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. Very clean hotel! We miss staying there!

I have been staying here during the week for almost two years. The whole staff has been great. The rooms are always clean and the entire hotel and grounds are well kept. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed at this hotel for a year and half. I could have stayed at any hotel in town, but why. The Holiday Inn Express is clean, friendly employees and a great location. If you stay in a hotel for a year and half you are going to have problems. The staff was on top of the problem and fixed it promptly. I will use The Holiday Inn Express every time I need a room in Alexandria.
