The staff at this hotel are very friendly, however the rooms smell horribly like smoke. Even if you ask for a non-smoking room, be prepared to have a room that smells like smoke. The beds are uncomfortable. There is no elevator. The pool is green, saltwater. There are only three hotels in Abbeville...so this is about as good as it gets.

Some body must have paid these people to say the rooms were nice and smelled good, because we opened the door and left without even getting our money back. The funk smell in the room hit us when we opened the door. They shouldn't even be allowed to keep this place open.

We stayed in Abbeville,LA at the Extended Stay Inn & Suites in one of the exterior rooms. Big Mistake!! The room had cigarette burns throughout the room (bathtub, nightstand, alarm clock, etc.) carpet felt greasy and didn't appear to have been vacuumed, coffee pot and tray was very dirty, pool was full of bugs and was cloudy. On the last night there we had no hot water. Thank god, we mostly just slept there or else we would have packed up and left!

I stay at this hotel each in everytime im in abbeville, the staff is great, and the rooms are very clean and smell very good!!! Stayed at the Executive once thought i gave it a shot, but i wasn't to happy with the room and the location. And the front desk agent is always on her phone, and has like her whole family in the lobby giggling away. Not very professional at all! i would recommend Extended Stay to all my family and friends.
