We stayed here for a few days at the tail end of a trip in Central America; we wanted something clean, comfortable, and in a central location for a good value and we got all of the above. However, the best part of Hotel California is Onieva, the woman at the front desk! She was always super friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations for where to shop and where to get a good traditional Panamanian meal.

Well what can I say. This hotel is the noisiest I have ever stayed in. Although the beds were not too bad, the noise from the traffic was overwhelming. The restuarant is average and the food served is averaged. It does have a pool on the roof top with a few very outdated exercise equipment.

Spotless room for 44$ in the Bella Vista district of Panama City. Close to everything. The reception and cleaning staff is just soooo nice. Room had all amenities i'm looking for: a/c, cable tv, wireless internet and private bathroom. Wasn't too big, but clean. There is a cafeteria in the hotel, but not a fancy one. Good enough to buy a drink or a sandwich thouh.
