When we go to Panama City, Panama, we usually stay at the Hotel Milan. The staff is friendly, rooms clean, and it is close to many restaurants and shopping. Security is wonderful. They screen everyone coming through the front door, and it is a nice, secure feeling. They also have secure inside parking. For the price this is a great place to stay. The suites are slightly more, but have a king sized bed, a mini fridge, and are a lot roomier.

I stay'd in room 413 for 12 days.

cleaned daily :)
Very quiet and secure.
Shame there is no little in the room.
But there is a ice box in the hallway.
Otherwise price in $ cash was great.
Location is in the center of the City.
Walking Distance to All Pubs /Bars, clubs, Casino and lots of Resturants.
Close to 24hrs RAY Supermarket with Pharmecy also 24hrs.
I ate a Spanish omelet in the downstairs Hotel cafe, it was tasty :)
Overall Expiriance from Nov 24 to Dec 6 2011 ROOM 413 was FANTASTIC & I RECOMEND IT.
VALUE FOR MONEY & SIMPLE SERVICE.

The hotel is everything that has been said before, clean, big rooms, great location, very helpful front desk in particular Anna.
The annexe extension wil be completed by February, the building works where not a problem.

The only downside is as has been reported on before are the luke warm showers.

All in all basic but excellent value for money at $65.00 if you pay cash.

For a good selection of bars, cafes and restaurants go to Calle Argentina two blocks away. Perfectly safe neighbourhood.

I spent 3 nights at Hotel Milan in Cangrejo neighborhood of Panama City from Dec.1 to Dec. 3, 2011, it's a nice clean hotel. Rooms are air-conditioned and have a TV there is also free internet service, there is no hot water though (I guess it's already hot enough in Panama city). The restaurant serves good food with comparatively reasonable prices. My room was a single room for $ 56.10 cash with no safe, other double rooms are S 65.00 cash with a safe. The location is central and safe. Staff were OK, only one girl at the reception speaks good English, but not always present.
