We stayed at the panama marriott hotel for a weekend. The hotel is beautiful. Hotel concierge services were excellent, they consistently gave us good reccomendations and made sure we enjoyed out stay.

The only downsides - hotel restaurant didn't open until 12 noon. Service at that same restaurant was slow. Our wait staff seemed more worried about what was on the TV than giving good service. The cafe on th other hand was fantastic.

Bottom line, the hotel and it's rooms are excellent. The stadf ia friendly and helpful. If your willing to pay the price, you won't be dissapointed.

The casino is an exhibit of classic Panama service: slow, indifferent, void of common courtesy, and makes you feel like you're bothering the staff. This is not to say Panama does not have good service anywhere, but generally, don't expect what you've appreciated in other countries.

The Mariott being the Mariott should really do something to train their casino staff on being more international, since this is the clientele they solicit.

Bell boy and concierge service were helpful and kind, though.

Landed at night from a long flight and got taken to Marriott. Very convenient, a great spot with a Mall on the adjacent property. Breakfast service was extremely slow. Not much of a choice on the buffet. Room was adequate. Two double beds over looking the mall parking lot which was not too interesting. Staff was very pleasant and cordial. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.
