I stayed here for a while due to a safety issue at a place I rented. I liked that I felt very safe on the property. I only saw only a couple of places to eat within a 5 minute walking distance. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before and the options were eggs, pancakes, cereal, gallopinto, or fruit. No breakfast before 7am. Laundry for $0.25 US cents per item. Nice that the bedrooms had their own phones and the owner has a system where she can track what calls you make. Bedrooms also had TVs but I never turned it on.
I had constant issues one thing or another in the bathroom, even after they were fixed. The water was tepid and not hot. The room had a funny smell if the air conditioner was not on. I was not able to get wi-fi from inside my room.
The owner was quite particular about things and it made it a bit uncomfortable. This was also the case for some other people I know who stayed there. I also felt bad about coming back after 10pm, because they lock the main door that guests don't have a key to, so you have to tell them beforehand when you will be back so that the staff will stay up or wake up for you. Positive side though is that she is thorough and helpful, and I suppose she has her rules for a certain reason.
I would say stay here if the location and price work for you and you are just looking for a safe, decent place to stay with a good breakfast. Don't expect super comfort or service.
I think for approximately the same price, my organization put me up in another place that had a huge pool, super friendly owner, nicer and more spacious rooms, and double size breakfast that I could never finish (sorry, I don't remember the place's name at the moment!).
