This was a great hotel, well priced and in a good location. The rooms are a great size and clean. We had 2 different rooms during our stay. 519 was a great room because it was a quite floor and had a balcony. We later had 306 which was noisy and no view. There is free wifi in the hotel, and the staff are really good.

There is a mall next to the hotel, so we had breakfast there at Pans & co rather than at the hotel since it was not included in our room rate.

Overall, I liked it and would stay here again.

Stayed here for a few days in November for business. The location can't be beat; right next to an outdoor pedestrian mall with lots of restaurants, shopping, a cinema etc. Very clean and safe location. Check in was a breeze, the hotel has plenty of conveniences, with all the basics, a gym etc. Only little problems I experienced is that the power went off while I was in the shower, which could have been dangerous, but it quickly came back on again. Also the front desk refused a delivery for me because the first name on the delivery was in my middle name, and for some reason the reservation was made using my first initial. But I have a very unique last name so you would think they would have put two and two together. And the room was slightly small, but beyond that it was fine, especially for short stays. No major complaints and I would stay here again.

I was surprised when I saw this hotel so high on the list of places to stay in San Salvador on trip advisor. After my stay, I understand why. It was one of my best hotel experiences in my 17 years of travel. This hotel gets it, every member of the staff was so over the top accommodating, it was almost overwhelming. Stay here and over the larger seemingly better hotels, you will not be disappointed.

The Courtyard by Marriott is ther perfect place to stay for your visit. The hotel is very modern and has all the amenities you could ask for (i.e. free computer with internet access, pool, fitness room, bar, restaurant, friendly english-speaking concierge). Plus, it is located next to an outdoor mall with lots of shops, restaurants and movie theater. You can even walk to Walmart in 5 min. Frankly, I didn't think this was important until I got there. It's not very safe to walk around San Salvador at night so having an outdoor mall next door was great.
