The hotel is in the same building as the Puerto Bus terminal - receives coaches from Guatemala. We arrived about 9 pm and were not confident enough to go looking for a place after dark in San Salvador. Reception would not let us see the room before paying saying something about security, which should have alerted us - foolishly we just meekly accepted. The room was clean, but there were no windows - it was simply a box. Staff were however happy to phone you at 4 am to wake you for the bus - even if you did not want to catch the bus at that time in the morning !
There is a small cafe open until late at night, which serves basic meals - the hotel lists it as their restaurant. Coaches start getting noisy around 5 am.
Really just a place if you are in transit on the bus - no other plausible reason to stay
