We’ve stayed in this hotel after 3 nights in another hotel where they’ve tried to rip us off (another story but very typical in Ukraine so be careful). After spending 3 days on wood hard bed we were happy to see crispy white sheets and soft bed (we’ve stayed on floor 6, I think higher the floor higher the standard, but I’m not sure). We’ve paid 550 grivens per night, without breakfast, which is about 55 euro. Cafe on 2nd floor is really overpriced and they don’t have fresh milk for coffee, etc. Apart from that one day we’ve decided to stay in hotel for most of the day (-17˚C outside), the lady who manage the floor knocked twice and with really annoyed tone of voice she’s asked if and when we’re going to go out because she wants to clean the room!!! Beside the fact we had DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Generally I’ve hated Kiev, hotels, food, restaurant’s service and people’s attitude. I think they’re not used to tourists and really should learn some manners.
