I have stayed twice more at the Impressa where, good service, politeness,excellent and willing service, good amenities in the rooms, and always the freshest of fruits to enjoy, with a welcome chocolate on the bed as you arrive am derive to make your stay very special indeed.
Rooms are all unique none are the same, comfortable beds plenty of space, is the standard.I have noticed that the wi fi only works on floor you are on so this does add extra security with an ultra fast wi-fi, to boot excuse the pun.
I like the rooms I have stayed in and even if you are on the front it its easy to sleep as the road outside did not disturb me at all.
I think of this great hotel which has only 18 rooms, as my home in Kiev now, so much so that when i had a problem with my car, and had to leave it there whilst i went to London, it had a fuel problem, they got fuel for my car and kept it there for 12 days and even arranged a car from the airport for me to get back at a very reasonable charge for the taxi, and keeping the car for me, this is what i mean about friendly and welcome home service its unique to find it in this way without it being at all intrusive. There is of course the Shooters 24/7 restaurant as part of the hotel with a terrific breakfast choice, to start your day the best way. Now they have all weather dining on the sidewalk café behind glass so that you can still see all the action on this beautiful street, great for people watching,, it has radiators and under-floor heating and even blankets if you should feel chilly.
its the best of all worlds a great hotel with a great eatery as part of the hotel. Some one said in a review that they didn't understand the kilts and Scottish theme well, its because this theme represents the Scottish people that own Shooters and Shooters entertainment centre in a different part ot town, but wow doesn't it look attractive on the pretty girls. I will be back again in a week or so , thanks Impressa for my Kiev home coming

A very conveniently sitauted small business hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was good too although the choice of music and the tartan theme was puzzling. I have already recommnded the hotel to colleagues

The Impressa promotes itself as a business hotel with just 18 bedrooms in a former merchant house with all mod cons including 300 channels on your TV (if you can find them), wi fi, mini bar etc. It wasn't quite what I expected, being situated right on the main street in Podil with its neon lit bars and fast food restaurants.The reception staff were welcoming and all spoke good English which is a rarity in Kiev, it seems. My little room at the back of the hotel was quiet and well-appointed with an excellent bathroom. However, it was expensive for what it was. My single room supplement for a three night stay totalled £177 which I thought was iniquitous.

This Hotel is a beautiful with a wonderful resturaunt called Shooters that is attached.They offer a great Breakfast and it is all in a uplifting experince. I really enjoyed myu stay.
