I came across this hotel when I booked a city break via e-Bookers.
I was very impressed with the receptionists at the hotel notably Juilia;Lena and Alla who made my stay most welcome and who were always on hand to help me out and offered excellent service and advice on what to do in Kiev.
The room was lovely ,well furnished,spacious and comfortable with a large ensuite bathroom and great shower cubicle.he hotel is tucked on the edge of Kiev witha 10mins taxi ride to the city centre.Recommend you always agree a price before taking a taxi when in the city centre alone or ask the girls on reception to arrange this.On avaerage price for a taxi is 5 pounds each way.I would definitely return to stay here and also recommend it would make for an ideal break with someone special.

I rarely post on tripadvisor, but had such a great experience at this place that I felt obliged to do so. The other complimentary posts are dead on. The staff was more helpful than even what you might find at a 5-star hotel. Ask and you shall receive!

New year's eve in Kiev, me and my girlfriend: without any doubt we chosen again this hotel that represent simply the best in this misterious and beautiful city. Is not possible to describe the atmosphere that guests can breathe from the first moment: hospitality, cleanliness, bright spaces, comfortably rooms and the deep sensation to be at home. Oleksander, Oksana, their parents and also the staff (thank you again to Lena and Alla for their help) are truly and sincerely happy to have people as guests; there are not so many words to describe: is enough to tell that is like to stay at home.... but a wonderful home. Price honest, excellent and fresh food, rooms perfectly clean, a lot of facilities and a sensation of peace all around that makes this place like a little corner of paradise. Thank you again for everything, once again has been a wonderful stay.

I was on leisure trip for 4 days with my girlfriend second time in Kiev. First time I was on business trip and stayed in 5 star hotel and if to compare Oselya and Opera I have to say Oselya is much better. Service is very good we bothered staff with many requests and all of them were done with smile. They enjoy their work and it makes the atmosphere in the hotel very friendly. Room was big and well equipped. We stayed in Honeybee dance room. The only one minus was coffee machine which you have to stop in time otherwise water will overfill cup. My girlfriend also didn’t like it was not allowed to smoke in the room so she used balcony but as for me it is just perfect as I am not smoker.

Thanks to staff we had our time well planned and saw many places. Location is perfect. Very quiet area and at the same time it took us 10-20 min and 5-7 EUR only to get to any places we wanted to see. Food very good and customized. My girlfriend has special diet and stuff cooked for her. They have lovely garden I am sure in summer time it is the best place to stay and relax.

A piece of advice for hotel: you use too much of light I wish you to use saving technologies or at least to regulate power consumption.
